Wish Me Luck!

Wish me luck folks. I did something stupid to hose up my first HTPC/SageTV box. (I blame myself completely.) Anyway, it's given me a great excuse to go ahead and move components/start building my new htpc. I've had the case for a couple of months and, while I still haven't ordered my second and third tuners, I thought I'd go ahead and start.

Here's hoping I can get it all wrapped up in one night!

Eight and a half hours later...

The entire box is working, although the audio and video decoding process needs a lot of work. (Big surprise.) The Intervideo decoder skips like crazy. I'm having to stick with NVDVD (which looks like poop) just to have it working. I guess I'll tweak around with it later.

I still count the entire process a complete success.
