Video Help

I can not get my video tab synced. I show 61 BD/DVD's and 11 folders. When I go in the folders there are only about 25 movies in there and some folders/movies are missing from the folder view. Also when I go to the titles tab it says there are no titles. I do not know what to do to fix this.

Yes. I am getting frustrated with this. I am thinking that I should have went with Windows Media center for a more out of the box solution. I have had nothing but problems with Sagetv. My goal was to rip and back up movies to an uraid server. Then stream them through house on wired network.

I am very sorry about all the questions but I do not know what happened. Things seemed to work fine then all my movies started messing up.

do you use BMT? if so log in to BMT and check the properties on some of those movies. make sure they didn't get moved to recordings, or archived or soemthing of that nature.

i know with diamond i had some issues where half of my movies wouldn't show up. after a little investigating i found that when i went into the diamond options and checked out the filters if i included archived , everything starting showing up..

if u use bmt you can easily move recording in and out of an archived state...

Hope that helps..

Did you check to see what filters were setup for those views? There have been several threads on this topic where there was an option to include "unscraped" videos that by default was not checked.

Yes I use BMT. It now shows that almost everything is missing metadata. I like the way mymovies does the metadata. Is there anyway to use the mymovies metadata instead of BMT?

I greatly appreciate the help from everyone. I have spent all day trying to fix this and wife has been getting upset with all the time I am spending on this. I only post questions after spending a good amount of time trying to figure out the problem on my own.

yes you can.

if you install my movies collection manager on your sage server, and then install pluckyhd's amazing sage my movies plugin found in the plugin manager, it will allow you to use the metadata from mymovies for EVERYTHING that you being managed by my movies... blurays dvds playon movies, etc.

Also those screenshots are from the default we don't mod those in anyway. Sounds like you don't have your import directories right in sagetv.

There is a way to use mymovies with sagemymovies or diamond a search is your friend.

Yeah I thought the same also but I went through the import folders and they are all there. I had to type in the directory and it evend showed all sub folders when I selected the path.

Thanks everyone.
