Khan Academy plug-in request

Here's an idea for another SageTV plug-in.

There's a video training web site called Khan Academy, www.khanacademy.org. There are over 2,100 free training videos on the web site and are supposed to be the most visited training videos on YouTube. The Khan Academy training videos are very useful for students from elementary through college.

If a plug-in could not be built for Khan Academy, maybe it could be added to one of the on-line menus.

I'm not clear on what this proposed plugin would do that you can't do now by searching YouTube videos from within Sage.

Or if you use the PlayOn plugin, you can add khanacademy to your list of YouTube users in PlayOn and then browse the videos from within Sage.

Basically if it's on YouTube, you can watch it in Sage one way or another.

I was thinking that there could be a plugin or menu item similar to Leo Laporte's TWit podcasts.

If you go to www.khanacademy.org, you will see the menu of over 2100 training videos. I am looking for a menu within the SageTV GUI that lists the over 2100 videos, rather than searching YouTube for the 2100 videos within the millions of videos on YouTube.

Anyone that has children or extended family in school should know about Khan Academy and use it. Google has funded Khan Academy with two million dollars. This could really grow to something very big with Google's money behind it.
