Anysee tuner CAM support for DVB-S/S2

Because FireDTV card production has been stopped, which is a full CAM supported tuner in SageTV, we added CAM support code for Anysee tuner for DVB-S2/S pay-tv http://www.anysee.com/eng/.
you can try Anysee tuner with this patch,
http://download.sage.tv/users/qian/A...ee-patch.1.zip

the support code isn't included in 7.1.x.

Hi,

Great news that CAM support has not been forgotten, I use two FireDTVs with CAMs and they are very good although, as you say, sadly no longer available.

Is there any chance SageTV could look to support CAMs for the Technotrend TT-S3650 in the future.

Are all the Anysee S / S2 units supported ie the E7S2CICRplus link http://www.anyseedirect.eu/en/Satell...ypage.tpl.html

Also you say "the support code isn't included in 7.1.x." do you know when the support will be but back into the current beta?

Many thanks,

David

Anysee support code are already in 7.1.7. we tested Anysee E7 S/S2, DVB-C DVB-T with CI. when you use an Anysee tuner with SagetV, you have to manually disable CNO.exe running due to device conflicting, Anysee may address this issue late in their instalation.

Unhappy

Hi

I just bought two Anysee e7 S2 CI Plus (after reading this thread).
But I can't get it to work.
I can tune the channels in Sage TV but I get "No Signal" when I watch them.
It's the same for both free and encrypted channels.
And Yes, I have disabled CNO.exe.
It works fine in the Anysee application.

I have Windows 7 32, SageTV 7.1.7.254 and the latest Anysee driver from their webpage.

Any clues?

You should be using the latest version of Sage 7.1.9. Search the forum for the download.

OK, I think I found a clue:
The CNO software has a very handy monitor where you can see what the tuner is doing. And when I compere the tuning of the same channel in the Anysee software and SageTV, I can see that everything is the same but the LNB power.
It's ON when the Anysee software is tuning and OFF when SageTV i tuning.

So how can I enable the LNB power in SageTV?

Thumbs up

Hi again.

It works now!
I found a newer driver for the Anysee on the international webpage.
I added "tuning_mode=Air" to the encoder in Sage.properties.
And finally I disabled my other TV-tuners.
One ore more of these things fixed the problem.
