Amazon Prime

I know the discussion of Netflix native on Sage has been beaten to death, but what about Amazon Prime now that they have opened up their 5000+ movie and tv show streaming to all their members? For cheaper ( $79 a year ) then Netflix you get access to all that plus 2 day expedited shipping on orders from Amazon to boot.

Havent looked all that much into the service yet, just throwing it out there.

Not so much for the streaming, that's a great bonus, but Prime is the best money I've ever spent! Do a rough calculation on what you spend with shipping each year, I buy EVERYTHING online that I can (Diapers, PC supplies, water filters, tools, etc.)... Prime saves my family and I hundreds of dollars each year. It says two day, but a lot of times we get it next day. If I need to guarantee next day, it's $3.99... CAN NOT BE BEAT!!!

FWIW, I just watched my first Prime Streaming Movie for free this weekend on my Roku. Worked perfectly, picture & sound was great, just as good as Netflix. Catalog still isn't even close to Netflix, but like I said, as an added bonus it's just awesome!

Me thinks that most around here have already purchased other devices to fulfill their Netflix,Amazon VOD needs.

Not at this household. Would love to be able to use Prime on my TV, but no way to get it there currently (without using the software player, that is). Sad that it's a "free" feature we can't easily use.
