System doesn't sleep with 2.0
Hi,
I've been using 2.0 since about 2.0.15. Yesterday, I upgraded from RC3 to the final 2.0. Now my system won't sleep, hibernate actually. I've had great success with my system hibernating after 30 minutes of inactivity and SageWake waking the system when it's time to record something. But, now something is preventing it from hibernating. When I upgraded, I kept my properties file, so none of the old settings should have changed. Are there any new settings that might be preventing hibernation? Thanks |

Seeing this too -- try decreasing the time for standby or hibernation - does that make it go into S/H?

Nevermind, I found the problem. I tried out the music library by adding a network directory. I guess Sage checks that directory every so often to see if new content has been added. After removing it, the system went to sleep 30 minutes later.
I'll just keep using myHTPC for music and Sage for just TV stuff. |

well if you're using girder for your remote....maybe you can unmap that network drive when you put sage to sleep and remap it when you wake it up?
I notice something real weird this morning, my system did not sleep all night even though Sage was "sleeping"....because my mouse was in the application window and Sage had focus. I moved it away and 10 minutes later the monitor went in to standby like I would have expected to wake up to. Weird huh...

I noticed this behavior even on 1.4. It had to do with windows share activity on port 445. To fix this, I stopped using shared drives. You can use unc instead. What I mean is \\nameofpc\sharename. Put this in for the lib dir and you will not have that problem.
