New Diamond is displaying folder movie resides in in views?

Upgrading to the new Diamond a couple hours ago and noticed something immediately upon upgrading. Check out these screen shots. Notice how Diamond is displaying my Movie directory as part of the name only on certain movies. Some movie are fine, some are not. Screenshots as follows:

See how "AWAKE" is being displaying with a forward slash before the movie name "Awake". The directory that the Awake.mkv file is located in is "AWAKE".

Same here for Batman Begins. The "BATMAN_BEGINS" is actually the movie directory for the .mkv file.

Last one is Avatar. It displays as it should be. No problems here.

My movies are all separated into individual directories as they should be. My directory tree looks like:
F:\Movies\MovieA\moviea.mkv
.............\MovieB\movieb.mkv
.............\MovieC\moviec.mkv

I am using BMT for scraping. Any ideas? Didn't have this issue with the last Diamond build.

Look at the affected titles in bmt web interface and see what they say. Older versions of bmt did that to me too.

I have had this happen a few times if you check in BMT the title will have the path in it. You need to use the batch process in BMT to remove relative paths from the title.

I have seen this after updating BMT/Phoenix where my imports start to have the path in the title even thought I have that turned off in BMT settings.

Yup, I removed relative paths from BMT and that did it.

This Diamond looks great! Can't wait to keep playing with it!

For $8 you could get a wired IR extender (http://store.sagetv.com/mm5/merchant...tegory_Code=HD) and not have to have your HD300 peaking out over the top of your TV.

I only even mentioned it b/c it's clear that you like a clean (no wire) setup, so the unit peeking over the top didn't fit. My setup has wires everywhere, so I don't mind as much having a unit sitting awkwardly on the table.

Hello,

I installed the 3.3 update last night and it suddenly caused this problem for me also.

This wasn't a newly added movie or anything either, I have had this movie ripped for a month or so and it has always appeared correct until I did the 3.3 update.

Maybe it has to do with the fix that was made for this post?

I know you guys said the fix was to remove some data with the BMT web ui, but is the problem really in my BMT data or the way Diamond is displaying said data?

Thanks
Les

It is likely you updated BMT as well and that is what usually causes it. We in no way shape or form edit your metadata.

I don't think you are editing the meta data either, I wasn't trying to imply that

I just wonder if you are displaying a different title then you were before? Because I think someone mentioned that the display title was changing to fix a different bug (the one I liked to in the post).

I am pretty sure I have not updated BMT. As a matter of fact, the BMT web ui has been notifying me for about a week or so that there are updates available. However, I have been choosing to not update in fear of something breaking It's possible another plugin forced a BMT update behind the scenes though I guess? The only thing I have updated recently is the PlayOn plugin (that was about a week ago or so) and then Diamond (last night).

Others could have yes. The change in the Title would not effect this or you would see all users complaining On my 2 servers and clients it is displaying correctly, but I have had it reset before cause by BMT. You need to check the title in BMT webui and I am 99% sure you will see the path

I just installed Diamond, and am coming from a SMM existence for quite some time. I really like what I see. However I am experiencing the same thing as above. All titles under my import paths located in their own subdirectories show the entire path in the various movie views. My difference is that I don't use BMT. I use My Movies Collection Manager for fanart and metadata (.properties file). My question is where would Diamond be pulling the path in order to display it ahead of the title in a scenario like mine? The .properties correctly lists the title alone (no path). Is this just a side effect of not using BMT, in which case I need to move away from My Movies for fanart and metadata managment?

Try reindexing. Stop the service change the reindex property and restart te service. Give it a bit and let it reread the props file.

Thx for the quick reply Plucky! One question...what/where is the reindex property you refer to? Is this something beyond a normal rescan?

Yes it in the server sagetv.properties file in the sagetv\sagetv install folder. Set it to true with the service off then save and restart service.

Something weird is happening. I stop the service and change the 'force_full_content_reindex' value to "true" in my Sage.properties file. I then restart the Sage service. Almost immediately after starting the service, Sage is somehow flipping the value back to false, and adding a new line in my Sage.properties file that says:

disable_full_content_reindex=false

So I now have these 2 lines in the properties file:

disable_full_content_reindex=false
&
force_full_content_reindex=false

I let the reindex go to see what happens, but the behavior I describe with the folder names is still there. What am I missing?

UPDATE: the force_full_content_reindex value only gets flipped to false if I start up the Sage UI. If I only start the service, it stays true (although that other disable_full_content_reindex=false line still gets added in on its own). Regardless, after doing a test on a media path with only a handful of videos, the behavior remains. Something seems "stuck" from the past maybe. Is it worth my while doing a completely clean and fresh SageTV install to get rid of whatever it is possibly over time that is causing this?
