Home Video Exclude

I have BMT webgui set in the configuration options to exclude a specific directory for Home Videos. My home videos are handled as I would expect, they’re ignored. IIRC, you’ve made the recommendation of using this same procedure to exclude any folder a person would want. I’ve added another folder to the string separated with a semicolon. However, BMT continues to read these files and say they’re missing metadata. Shouldn’t BMT ignore these after I’ve added it to the Home Videos exclude area?

I’ve done re-scans on the entire collection, as well as specific re-scan of the folder in question forcing an update on all metadata.

Also, I’ve looked for the other procedure of handling folder excludes and couldn't find anything in the manual. Is there any instructions setting up a filter for these folders other than using the above mentioned procedure?
