Though you can run the v7 client, using the v6 UI, if you like. Detailed Setup -> Advanced -> Load STV -> "C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageTV3.xml"
there is no upgrade license required for the client.

More likely he asked this in the Mac forum because there is no v7 client for the Mac.

Exactly. It's Placeshifter only for Mac clients against a non-Mac Sage 7 server.
