odd interface option

I had Diamond installed, I uninstalled it, then re-installed it... a couple times. One issue I get now is a weird problem where the poster area should be. It looks like it is displayed faintly but upside down and in the background. Because a pic is worth a thousand words and no one wants to read a thousand word post.... please see the pic.

What can I do to fix it. I have tried uninstalling diamond again, tried changing the theme... not sure how to fix it. One thing I did try that helped is replaced all the contents of the clients.config file... that fixed the issue but any new client (I recently bought a HD300) that generates a new client file is messed up.

Do you have any other plugins installed other than Diamond? Please make sure that only Diamond and Comskip/Commercial detector are enabled for troubleshooting.

What happens with the Simplified TV view or when you use the Diamond Info?

FYI - the upside down faded image is the lower reflection, and looks to be correct, the fanart thumb area seems to not be drawing for some reason.

The simplified view works GREAT...

One thing I can add is this...
I had this issue with any new client.... so for those clients I copied the whole client.config file from a working client config file... that fixed it for those clients for those default views.
Now I have created a custom view (for my imported TV shows kept on my NAS).. and this issue comes back.

Oh yeah.. I had Ortus installed but never got it working (didn't actually spend much time on it to be honest). That has been installed for a while... I uninstalled it just to rule out it as the culprit.

I have never seen the missing thumbnails like that, and I don't think any of our testers have either so your experience is a new one.

If you disable Diamond UI Mod and then switch back to the default "Standard" theme do you still see the thumbnails missing in the upper right?

Also have you tried to delete all of the Diamond Settings? You may have some remnants from old installs in the properties file. From the main menu hit ESC and the select Diamond Options/Debug Menu/Clear All Diamond Settings/Delete Client Settings

I disabled Diamond.... set it back to the default theme. For several listings in my normal "All recordings" view they are broken similar to the pic above, for many others you can see the normal random frame from the show (the one you normally see wiht the default theme).

I don't think this is a "Diamond" issue based on your findings above as you are still seeing the missing images with Diamond disabled under the default.

I'm not sure that I would be able to find the cause looking at your sageclient.properties file, that's not my thing .

You might want to shut down the Client and rename the existing sageclient.properties and sageclient.properties.autobackup to something else (.old etc...) and restart to let the client create a new default properties file.

I will try to have it re-create itself and see if that helps. Might take me a few days though (two jobs and a 3 year old).

I'm having the same problem as you. I deleted all the Client.properties file and rerun the the delete diamond cache and rebuilt it. I'm still having the same problem. When I get time I'm going to uninstall Diamond and clean out any Diamond references in the Sage.Properties file. If it's still happening I'm going to try the same thing with BMT. I also have old backups of the of my properties files I may try and copy over an older one from when I wasn't having this problem.

If it is happening in the default with diamond disabled it is NOT DIAMOND.

I was already thinking that because of it happening with diamond disabled and all new client properties files. I'm thinking it's BMT but it could also be the base Sage, but I'm going to try all the plugins first.

Yeah disable all plugins the default shouldn't do that.

I did fix this problem by restoring an old copy of Sage.properties from a backup I had after installing Diamond. I haven't had time to track down the exact problem but replacing the property file does fix it.
