Jetty install failed-Zip extraction error
Hi all,
Recently I attempted to upgrade one of the plugins that requires Jetty (so I previously had Jetty installed). So it began downloading all the pieces and dependencies. But then it tried to extract the zip files and fails with: Plugin Install Progress: Done - FAILED Dependency Install jetty-FAILED - Zip Extraction of http://downloads.sourceforge.net/pro...eplugins/Jetty Starter/2.3.0/plugin/jetty-starter-config-files-2.3.0.14.zip?user-mirror= I went looking and found the downloads under c:\program files\sagetv\sagetv\plugininstallers\jetty. Other than the files are named without an extension. They all open in 7zip without a problem. I am running SageTV 7.1.7 on Windows XPSP3. Dave |

Can you try the upgrade again? I want to make sure SourceForge wasn't the cause yesterday. Delete that file first to make sure it's downloaded again.
If it still fails, turn on SageTV's debug logging, try the upgrade again, and post the log file here.

I had a similar problem once and it was related to permissions - i believe the account that Sage was using was not authorized to create directories in the Sage folder. Therefore the zip extraction fails since it is trying to create a new directory.

Here are the logs
Dave EDIT: I see the access denied but the service account that sagetv runs under is a member of the administrators group. That group has full rights. Last edited by dblaine2; 06-16-2011 at 07:12 PM. |

I figured it out CREATOR_OWNER had no rights. Fixed.
