DTS-HD/ffdshow-tryout
I'm using ffdshow-tryout (beta 7) because I am looking for an audio codec that supports DTS-HD. I've been happy for years in avoiding ffdshow and I'd like to go back to being ffdshow-free. Maybe I'm configuring it incorrectly, but my audio with ffdshow is very muffled and distorted. .... another post maybe for another day.
What codec out there supports DTS-HD? Thanks AWS

Thanks
panteragstk: Thanks for your info.
Maybe someone can chime in with a config/remedy for my ffdshow since it looks like I'll be using ffdshow for a while. Within ffdshow audio, I only have "volume" checked/enabled and I have the individual channel/volume sliders set to 150% Then I have my Windows volume set to 75% and my physical speaker volume at 50/80 (80 is max, not 100). I hear a lot of distortion, like over-amplification of a sound source. Before I had the ffdshow volume bumped up to 250% but it was worse. So now it's at 150%, better, but still not as clear as before, without ffdshow. Am I missing something here? Thanks AWS
