7.1.9 RC XP SP3 client no longer can connect to server
I can no longer connect with an XP client. No plugins, defualt everything. Uninstall Sage, revert back to official 7.0 release (7.0.23) and all is well. Install 7.1.9RC again and can no longer connect; just hangs.
I've fiddled with this for a bit; I rarely use a pc client. I did submit a bug report. I purposely keep the windows client 100% bone stock for just these reasons. Shawn

Are you upgrading both server and client? A 7.0 client won't work with a 7.1 server, or vice versa. The client/server versions must match.

The 7.1.9 upgrade did not work - I had 7.0.23 installed to a different directory than the default. I even specified my "custom" directory during the upgrade, but it still insisted on putting it in c:\program files (x86)\Sage (etc).
I was able to recursively copy all the directories and re-ran the setup; all is well now. Thanks, Shawn
