Is there a link to download the last sage?

I looked on the homepage but can no longer find a link to download the last working non-beta of sage tv.

I don't know if I have a back up and wanted to download it since the beta is now telling me no signal on all my channels.

Is there a way to get the last non-beta version of sage tv? And I will probably need the sage tv placeshifter as well.

I was about to say yes, it is the copy on the main page...but the main page says that SageTV was acquired by GOOGLE!!! You can't download the software any more.

man...I am scared now.

anyway, you could try the last betar release of 7.0. You can find it here:

Ok, downloading now.

Now how do I get an upgraded license? I am seriously worried about this. I desperately need another extender.

If you know the version you are looking for and come up with the right file name you can still download as of this moment. Of course since the only announcement is "we've been purchased and we don't know what's next", it's anyone's guess whether EPG will continue to work...

If I remember correctly EPG does not come from SageTV. They use an online guide.

Except that when the server went down a couple of months ago, the guide data stopped being updated for about two days if IIRC....

The data comes from zap2it, but it is funneled/processed through a sagetv server.

No, no expiration on anything but unlicensed trial software.

Hey all, I just looked at the original file that I downloaded once I purchased the v7 license. It is, indeed 7.0.23...the final release candidate for 7.0. I am sure that I did not download it from the beta page, I would have downloaded it from the main download link.

So, the link above to the RC page (post 52041) is the released version you would have gotten before 7.1.
