Set up Diamond on each extender?

I am just starting to use Diamond and have a newbie question. Do I have to set up all my preferences, menus, filters, etc individually for each extender? Or is there a way to set it up, save it, and then load to my other extenders? I am not complaining I can see it might be nice to have different configurations for different extenders, but to keep it simple for my wife I would like to be the same on each.

I haven't followed closely, but I don't think this is do-able at the moment (at least with the remote from 10' away)

Yes, you can setup Diamond on one extender and then copy the settings to the other extenders.

Each of the extenders will have a property file on the Sage server and you can manually copy the contents of the Diamond configured property file to all of the other files.

I tried this copy a few times and it never seemed to work properly. My Custom Movie menus would get copied but not my customized TV menus for some reason.

Diamond extends the built in SageTV recording views. The settings for those views are stored in the .properties files under the setting "sagetv_recordings/" so you would need to copy those settings between extenders too.

Thanks - I just copied the lines prefaced by "JORTON".
