PAL 25 v 30 Htz
Hi, I have been having this issue with all versions of sage 1.4 and above
I live in NZ where pal has a freq of 25htz all recordings that I make have a freq of 30 how do I know this, reclock has great difficulty syncing the signal and reports that it is 30htz and i should reset my monitor to a multiple of 30 rather than a multiple of 25 in zoomplayer if i play a file recorded by sage and whilst playing it i press the I key zoomplayer reports that the fps is set to 30 but they appear to be 25 Is this a bug am i doing something wrong help the only reason i care about this is I am getting severe eyestrain from my system sometime to the extent of nausea currently running sage 2.0, latest driver from svhprv for pvr350 and latest nvidia drivers from nvidia site -ekiwi pvr350 pal nv5700 p4 2.8 1gb mem gb 875 mb |

Have you created any PAL Profiles in the sage.properties file.
The ones that are provided are NTSC instead not PAL. Although this situation should only result in your recordings being 720x480 at 50Hz. A DVD Movie is 25FPS PAL and 30FPS NTSC. TV Sources are interlaced 50Hz PAL and 60Hz NTSC Perhaps another PVR350 PAL user can provide you with more info.

Well I have no idea what zoom player is trying to tell you but it seems confusing to me. I suggest you add a PAL profile to the sage.properties file like the following seeker/recording_qualities/PAL45VBR=PAL45VBR,384,48000,6000000 mmc/python2_encoding/PAL45VBR=videobitrate=4500000|width=720|height=576|audiobitrate=384|vbr=1|peakvideobitrate=6000000 Start SageTV and select PAL45VBR and record something. Let me know what zoom player thinks of that file.
