Sage TV frozen at 100% CPU

I hardly use Sage; I haven't got my wife off TiVo. But I want to, and so I have a dedicated Sage 2.0 box (Asus Pundit, Pentium 2.4GHz CPU, 512Mb RAM), and I've set it up to record the few programs we watch. Tonight I switched to it (for the first time in about a week) as I wanted to add a program, and found it was displaying a show of Columbo (which we don't watch), seemingly paused, and was frozen with CPU usage pegged at 100%. I haven't killed the process yet but I guess it's probably been this way for a while (and thus not recording my shows). So my wife was right about keeping the TiVo after all.

Is this a known bug? I've seen some posting about this if files get changed under it but this box hasn't been touched by anyone, and serves no other purpose than to run Sage, so those cases don't seem to apply.

More info - after killing the process I got a task manager pop up saying I was low on disk space (I have a 120Gb drive, and only a few shows set up for recording, so I shouldn't be - my TiVo with 120Gb handles a bigger schedule and has shows that are several months old). I clicked "Clean up" and almost all the disk space was immediately recovered, which makes me think it was a temp file or something created by the Sage process that filled up the disk (and may have caused the freeze).

Sage, however, is not managing to start up now. I see the spash screen, and some indecipherable text on the bottom with a progress indicator stuck at 15%.

do not mean to try to tell you to go the long way but
I would uninstall it and delete the frey's folder
then reinstall

see if that makes any difference also whats running the background

furthermore tell sage to leave 5 GB free

It could be the space setting - but I don't see anywhere to specify that option in the setup. How is it specified?

under the video folder that all the video are stored in you can adjust the amount of the harddrive you want to use
make it 100GB or all or leave free 5 GB
whatever you want
