Lost Tuner Settings
I have an Adaptec 2410 and am using a Network Encoder for DVB reception. All was working fine until last night when I ran out of disk space on the partition I was recording to.
Sage hung and when I restarted it - both my tuners had 0 channels assigned to them. Removing and adding both the tuners made no difference - still 0 channels. It was only when I deleted the entries in the sage. properties file for the Network Encoder that I could re-add my Adaptec tuner and get my channels back. I then re-added my Network Encoder properties and reset them. Any ideas on how I can avoid this in the future? |

yah, if it happens again, check the properties file for
mmc/ignore_encoders= and check to see if your tuners were being ignored |

I managed to reproduce the problem and the mmc/ignore_encoders entry in sage.properties was blank.
I figure I'll register it as a bug.. Cheers Peter |
