thanks - how often do EPG updates occur if left to their own?

It updates every 24 hours from the end of the previous update.

I forced an update via the web server and I now have through the 17 .

All but one channel now has data without all the missing data. For an all OTA user in Canada that's excellent. Thank you for the ray of hope that we're still alive.

I have programming data, but my recording schedule hasn't updated.

Edit: Wow, it took over two hours to update the recording schedule.

The default scan refresh for Sage is 2 hours so that should not be a surprise.

Every other time I have forced a reload of the EPG data, the schedule was updated within 5 minutes.

What does media refresh have to do with EPG updates (nothing) today I went to set up my test machine again and it took forever to get my EPG.

Maybe nothing. But I noticed my recording schedule completely update after the Sage refresh cycle om various occasions..
