Commercial Detector

I just upgraded my XP machine to Windows 7 32bit. CD was dead on with XP, with Win7 it's all over the place. Any ideas why? Only change was OS.

When you say "dead on" and "all over the place" do you mean the commercial detection was accurate under XP and not Windows 7 or it's crashing under Windows 7?

If the accuracy isn't as good as it was the first thing I'd look at is the .ini file. Do you make any customizations that were not carried over to W7? Check the settings to make sure CommercialDetector is pointed at the right comskip.exe and comskip.ini. If none of that works set the debug level to Trace and attach a logfile after it's processed a recording or two.
