Hey,
Definitely the small spacing listing. You can see more of all the different shows that have been recorded.

Sounds to me like the best solution is a toggle for both options ...

Is it possible to add a custom command to directly jump to the Archived SageTV Recordings?

I Like that the Library menu item in main jumps directly to Archived SageTV Recordings, but it would be nice to be able have a send message for girder to go directly.

yeah I installed the new Java runtime and it took down my weather
it was the weather java based not .net based
anyone know a quick way to fix?
I could go back to 1.4 but probably will just drop the weather if that was my only option

If you're using the weather module I wrote or rather if anyone is using the XML parser I wrote...it doesn't seem to be java 1.5 compliant. I hopped on here to check that out cuz I just ran in to this problem at work....I've been going on the internet finding other people having the same problem.

I'm not exactly sure what is wrong...because the XML is standards compliant....but they way it wants to parse it is definitely different, it gives fatal errors. Something along the lines of saying that certain values need to be ended with a ';'.

I rolled back my program at work to 1.4 for now....

not really but this will have to be fixed unless Frey(or STV makers) is going to recommend users to use Java 5
since I doubt this will happen
I can be patience and wait
the weather is the least of my worries

External DVD = Zoom

I can't seem to get the zoom player to launch from sage ( i guess I could do it in girder but...). I have external_DVD_Player = c\:\\Program files\\Zoom Player\\zoomplayer.exe but when I launch it from sage, sage sleeps but zoom never starts.

There is an DVD Param setting but i don't know if I need it.

This may be a silly question, but is zoomplayer really zoomplayer.exe? On my system, the zoomplayer executable is zplayer.exe.

Just an idea...

I am such a boob!
You are correct...well that's what I get for trying to *rush * implement that setting while the wife sits on the couch waiting to watch a DVD. I could have swore she was burning a hole in the back of my head with the lasers coming out of her eyes...

Calling medio modules from within sage?

HI,
What about:

Calling medio modules from within sage?

FM Radio Support (modify menu toplay specific stations?)

I know the 1st was an item prev. discussed for the MLBDUDE.STV
I wanted to know about the 2nd since I just picked up another pver-250(with FM tuner)

Any info would be great!

I agree and brought this up some time ago ... I'd like to use Meedio's non-PVR components myself, but from th Sage Menu. Of course an upgraded Sage to better support music, pictures, FM, etc. would be even better ...

So will this be updated to work with 2.1?

Main issue I have is that the OSD during TV watching does not show the current position in the file. It just says "Time". I am pretty sure that it actually displayed the time in 2.0.

This is expected. A change was made to the core of SageTV that will break this in older STV's.

Not sure if this will be updated. I think Opus4 moved all of these features into MalDude2. He must have fixed this issue in the enhanced OSD for that skin. I would suggest using that.

However, we need people testing the OrigionalV2 skin since we need to find the bugs in that one and fix them .

Thanks for the update. I have not been much of a help on testing since I am not home all this week because my house is being remodeled. I am going every night to check that everything is recording ok, and of course to check the progress on the house, and so far 2.1 has been good. I half considered going back to 2.0 since I can not be around but I have been sending Jeff bug reports on the power management features and he has already told me that all my power management issues should be resolved in the next beta. Hopefully by the time that is out I can focus on playing with the 2.1 OriginalV2 STV and be able to stay in my house at night.

Actually, I only used malore's 2.1 STV as the base for MalDude2. I kept the name since the default STV now has a lot of your work anyway... and there was no point in calling it the "Opus4" STV, since most of it is just a collection of work by others, not me.

A lot of the malore and MalDude2 STVs consist of simply the originalv2.stv, but I would agree that it is always best to test using the default STV. If someone refuses to use the default STV, the advantage of the two 2.1-based STVs is that they are at least using the 2.1 core STV instead of the 2.0 core STV. When reporting a problem, ALWAYS run the default STV first, no matter what version of SageTV you are using.

Most of the 2.1-based STV changes consist of added menus instead of modifying existing 2.1 menus.

I am surprised you guys updated these STV's so quickly since with each new beta release the OrigionalV2.STV is being updated with bug fixes .

I wasn't going to do so for a while... but then malore updated his & then I just couldn't resist having the latest 2.1 features too.

I'm assuming that malore's updates aren't too difficult to plug into the default STV... and then mine aren't too difficult to put on top of that. I purposefully did not go hunting and gathering in mlbdude2 for extra features, since that will take much more effort & I know changes in the base STV are coming. Example: You'll notice that I only changed the background image instead of changing all the other UI features that go along with that look. I didn't do too much for the very reason you mentioned!
