HDPVR & SPDIF Tuning Problem
I need some help. The HDPVR will not tune some channels (cable tv by the way) that I know that I get. I have it hooked up with an optical cable. I've changed the cable and nothing helps. I changed Sagetv from component w/ SPDIF to just COMPONENT and the channel now tunes.
So, Sage will tune a channel with only component. If I then tell sage to use component with SPDIF and try to tune that channel again, I get nothing (no picture, no sound). Any ideas? Some channels work (maybe ones without HD audio, I'm not sure). I called the cable company (Time Warner) and they said something about not being able to see my box (no two way communication) and that that may be the problem. This used to work just fine, and now, over the last few weeks, it's stopped working. HELP!!!!!!
