~AndyS ~Controlling Digital Cable Box w/ Serial Cable
Ok, finally got my hands on a serial cable to test to see if my dig cable box's serial port is enabled.
AndyS told me to run a program dct2000.exe, well I pluged it in, downloaded the program, and when I try to open it, it flashes a cmd prompt for half a second and then goes away. It was my understanding that it was a stand alone app. I really want to know if my serial port will work with sage, before I buy SAGE itself. Any Help Badly Wanted. Thanks, cc
