HD300-How do I make output resolution stick?
When I set the output resolution to 1920x1080i and then shut the HD300, when I turn it back on again, the output resolution shows as 1920x1080p. How can I make it stick as 1080i. I'm guessing that it would be a client properties values but don't know what it is. Can someone point me to the correct property value?
Thanks, Never mind. I found an old post that discussed this. Need to set resolution in stand alone mode prior to connecting to Sage server.

You have to start it up in Standalone mode, go to resolution setup and toggle to the resolution you want to be default.

Thanks Stanger. Actually it was one of your posts from 2010 where I found you answered someone with a similar question.

Kind of a similar related question. Is there a way to create custom resolutions on a thumb drive that come up in the stand-alone interface so they can be the default?
The problem I have is that if your TV is capable of YUV over HDMI the HD extenders automatically output YUV. My TV automatically applies overscan with a YUV signal over HDMI and there is no way to disable it. The only way to get rid of the overscan is to have an RGB signal which can be set through a custom resolution but is only available in extender mode and cannot be permanently set as the default. I realize YUV would technically provide a better picture but I would rather not have the overscan. Would be great if I could just stick a thumb drive in with the custom resolution.
