Here's a new test version following a discussion with stuckless. This one adds a Play button, which won't stream but will instead play through the network, so you probably don't want to play an 8 Gig file over a 3g connection... Ideally, you would have the file transcoded on the server to a format supported by Android like h264...

If you use HTTP Play, you should be presented with a list of supported video players that are installed on your device. I tried a recording and the native player on a Nexus 7 worked, though it doesn't seem to support landscape mode. Mirage beta worked even better. I couldn't get MX Video Player Pro to work, though stuckless said it worked on the file he tried...

EDIT: Tried a .MKV file and it's playing great in MX Video Player, but not at all in Mirage beta...
