HDHomeRun Prime vs. DCR-2650 Channel Changing
I just got a HDHomeRun Prime up and running and have to say, I am a bit disappointed with the channel tuning speed. I feel like I want to get up and get a soda while waiting for the channel to tune in. I remember reading a post somewhere by someone that was very happy with the Hauppauge DCR-2650 speed. Is there anyone who has used both and can comment on the speed of one over the other.

I have the HDHomerun prime and the channel changes are almost instant ... very quick. I do have my 2 Hd Homerun Dual QAM tuners and my HD Homerun prime on its own gigabit Intel NIC. So that is a total of 7 Tuners on 1 Gigabit Nic with 8 port switch.

Mine is fast as well, but I do notice Sage tends to select a different tuner from the Prime than the one currently being used when changing.

Thanks I will dig a little bit deeper. Probably just another case of user error.
