Service stopping constantly
Running Sage on WHS v1, been happy for years. Clients are HD300, HD100, two clients. All of a sudden, tonight, the service won't stay up for more than a minute. I've shut the service down and updated Java, no joy. What logs should I check for errors? There's nothing of note in the Windows logs.

Make sure your C drive hasn't run out of space. Second, check that java hasn't performed an automatic update while Sage was still running. If it has stop all Sage services, uninstall java and reinstall the version you were running.

I would check your hardware. Run memtest. One of my RAM sticks was bad and service was shutting down consistently. Wish I had checked before doing a fresh install. Could have saved myself a bunch of time. Good luck.

Many thanks for the replies. I did all of those things, without success. So I threw up my hands and uninstalled Sage and reinstalled, my theory being that it would be hard to make it less functional than it was. Works fine now, keeping my fingers crossed.

This happened for me after upgrade from Java 6 to 7 (yes I shut down Sage before ). I think there is a problem with java 7 and Sage. I’m curious to here experience form other sage users on this.
