Unable to Get Metadata -- tvdb instafails

Movies get picked up fine, immediately. None of my tv shows get metadata. When I try manually, it finds the title in the selection screen, but from there it immediately errors out with "Unable to get metadata".

Log example:

2012-08-19 15:14:03,645 - AUTO; MEDIA; D:\Movies\Television\Breaking Bad\Season 5\Breaking Bad S05E01 Live Free or Die.mkv; Breaking Bad S05E01 Live Free or Die; 13182892
2012-08-19 15:14:03,661 - ERROR; D:\Movies\Television\Breaking Bad\Season 5\Breaking Bad S05E01 Live Free or Die.mkv; Breaking Bad S05E01 Live Free or Die; 13182892; Failed while parsing series: MediaSearchResult [extraArgs={CLEAN_TITLE: Breaking Bad,SEASON: 05,EPISODE: 01,ID: 81189,RAW_TITLE: Breaking Bad,FILE: D:\Movies\Television\Breaking Bad\Season 5\Breaking Bad S05E01 Live Free or Die.mkv,PROVIDER: tvdb,EPISODE_DATE: 2012-08-19,}, id=81189, imdbId=null, metadata=null, providerId=tvdb, score=1.0, title=Breaking Bad, type=TV, url=81189, year=2008]

I've tried manually editing MediaTitles.xml:

<titles>
<match>
<regex>[\\/]Breaking Bad[\\/]</regex>
<title>Breaking Bad</title>
<metadata type="tv" name="tvdb">81189</metadata>
</match>
</titles>

Still no luck.

What am I doing wrong? It worked for a long time, then suddenly stopped a few months ago.

I would delete/clear the phoenix cache and try again... I think there is an option in the tools menu of BMT to clear the caches (i think)

Clear the fanart cache? Or some other cache?

Why would that affect it not getting episode info? <-- Not doubting you, just curious.
