Live Widgets

I love live widgets! But there are a couple customization options I haven't figured out.

There's an option that says "During video : Show/Hide". I assumed it enabled me to pull up widgets while watching a video, but that doesn't seem to be the case, or else I haven't figured out how. There are some related options for selecting which keys do what, but it doesn't seem to matter what I choose.

Can anyone enlighten me?

That controls the widget menu if you have a video playing and go back to the main screen, if you have it set to hide, the right side only shows if you dont have a video playing...
