Manually add channel?

MASN2 HD isn't in the guide, although MASN2 is, for DirecTV in my area. Is there a way to add the HD channel even though it has the same number (641) as the SD channel?

I also have the same problem, some channels which are available in HD do not appear in the EPG, although SD equivalent channels do appear.

Is there a way to either:
1. Manually add (mirror) channels that have the same content but are available in HD instead of SD?
2. Have the administrators of the EPG make these changes ?

Obviously, I would prefer to record in HD if the option is available.

In the current lineup for "Rogers Cable Inc. Digital - Ottawa" the EPG has some HD channels but is also missing some HD channels.

For example, channel 2 "TV Ontario HD" does NOT appear in the EPG, but channel 144 "TVOntario (TVO - CICA)" does appear (but carries a SD signal only).

I think your best bet is to contact Zap2it.com and/or SageTV official support to get those lineups updated properly.

This part is not in the User Guide:

To Edit the channel lineup, go to "Setup", "Setup New Sources", "Add New Source"
You MUST go all through the tuner card/source setup until you arrive at "Channel Setup" (I can't find any way to skip over the tuner card setup)

SCROLL DOWN to the list of channels. Click the green dot to enable/disable a channel. (They are probably all green to start with). ( Green = enabled, Black = disabled)
Scroll down to bottom of list & click "Finished with channel setup"

If anybody knows how to get directly to the Channel Setup without going through the whole New Sources setup, please share your knowledge here.

Not sure how it is in the default UI but with Gemstone, if I go to the guide, then select "options" ("esc" on the keyboard, one of the color function/buttons on an MCE remote, I never remember which), "Channel Manager" is an available choice and that gets you right to being able to enable/disable channels.
