HD300 not saving resolution anymore

I been using HD300 for awhile and using HDMI out with resolution set at 1080p/60 but after I upgraded to Gemstone it would drop down to 1080p/24 after the nightly reboots

So I thought Gemstone was to be blame and ran stock SageTV but it still drop resolution after the nightly reboot and not saving it at 1080p/60 setting

Any idea why it not saving the resolution I set it to?

Thank you

Bill

Did you setup your resolution in standalone mode first before connecting to your SageTV server? That is what controls the boot up resolution.

Nope it didn't fix it

When I change resolution setting on both HD300 and SageTV, it still goes back to 1080p/24 after reboot.

Strangly the second HD300 in bedroom stay at 1080p/60

If you don't want your extender to ever use 1080p/24, I think you can just uncheck the setting in the stand-alone video setup screen. This is not really a fix, more of a work-around.

just to elaborate/clarify what bobphoenix is saying:

The resolution set up in standalone mode on the "video output available resolutions" menu is the resolution used when the extender cold boots / reboots.

Use the Video Out remote button while on that screen to cycle through and set the default resolution.
