SageDCT + Ceton pause on program change

Just recently upgraded my Sage server to windows 7 from XP and decided to take the plunge and integrate a Ceton card at the same time. I basically have the 4 Ceton tuners + HDHomerun (original 2 tuner) + HDPVR. Everything is working great with one annoying exception. When watching on the Ceton tuner I get a 3-5 second pause whenever a program change occurs. This doesnt happen with the other tuners. Any idea on what could be causing this? I have been searching around on the forum and havent seen anything specific to address this issue. Everything has been working great for years and I love the addition of the 4 tuners with CC.....need to resolve this last issue.

thoughts/ideas?

thx...

still no luck...replaced my boot drive given it was old and not performing well....did complete re-install and still have same issue. Saw these 2 threads:

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...ht=ceton+pause

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...ht=ceton+pause

but no resolution. Is this the experience with everyone??...essentially back to pre-7.0 pause between programs on same channel when using SageDCT/Ceton?

any advice/feedback?

thanks!

The seamless recording change (what happens between programs) only works with natively supported tuners, not network encoders like SageDCT.

Sorry for the late reply. Haven't been monitoring this. I never solved this and always just assumed it was a quirk in my setup since no one else ever answered that they had this problem too. I am actually relieved to see i am not the only one! i think it is a ceton-only issue. If I am watching a show and am caught up to almost "real time", I will drop back out to the guide. If I play the show a couple seconds behind "live" it will pause on a show change but not drop out. My family has just gotten used to it.
