Shorted HDMI Cable... HD200's Dead...

I have 2 HD200's... I bought an HDMI cable from Best Buy... It was SHORTED and it blew out BOTH of my HD200's HDMI ports... They both still work on Component but the HDMI is DEAD... I feel TERRIBLE... Just TERRIBLE... I have done all the "delete" resetting...etc... but the HDMI ports are DEAD... We use SageTV all the time OTA... I am an old geek and very good at repairs but today's stuff is all surface mount.. etc... and I would not know where to start to trouble-shoot... I did contact SageTV support to BEG for help... but I understand they have moved on as goes with life... But we will see what happens... Any thoughts are SINCERELY appreciated...

Used but fully functioning HD200s can be picked up in the marketplace section of this forum for around $150, if component is not an option for you. You might even be able to sell your old HD200s to someone who does not need the HDMI output.
