In the last week and a half this has happened twice. When I go to play back a recording the audio and video are in slow motion. Its very strange. Restarting sage doesn't help and a reboot doesn't either. I'm not sure what the story is. CPU usage is normal during this time and no new software has been introduced.
If I reinstall sagetv, shut down (not just restart) the server then everything starts working properly. Any ideas? I have had sage running w/o any problems since the first beta of 2.0 Last edited by DynamoBen; 06-22-2004 at 05:53 PM. |

After happening 3 more times within an hour I figured out what was happening. Some how the show I had recorded, last comic standing, was corrupt in some way. This caused all the video and audio to slow.
To get the video to play normal again I had to reinstall sagetv, shut down, then play another show prior to playing the corrupted show. Very strange....not sure what can be done about it. I'm going to call it a UFO for now. |

You may want to update or reinstall your Hauppauge drivers if you see it again. I started to get that every now and then. Redid the drivers and all was fine. I think something must have gotten corrupted.
