TV Card not found in Setup Wizard (Newbie)
Hi all,
I have a Packard Bell computer, and it came with an 'ASUS TV7134 TV tuner/FM radio card'. The 'Power Cinema' software supplied with it is all well and good but a bit too user friendly and simple. So I turned to the trial version of SageTV after a bit of a Google trail... It all works fine, except upon startup, the 'Setup Wizard' asks me to choose my card from the list below, but said list is completely blank... A look in the hardware list in 'System' shows me that the card has WDM Drivers - not that I know what they are, but reading around they seem to be required/useful. Does anyone know of a reason/solution for this problem? Is it that the Asus card is completely incompatible? It all runs fine with the 'Power Cinema' software, so I can't see a plausable explanation... Any help much appreciated! ALX, UK

The SageTV System Requirements page says that it only supports hardware encoders. What you are using could very well be a software encoder. _If_ it does use hardware, it could be something not currently supported.
