SageTV is on Reddit
I got excited and created a subreddit: www.reddit.com/r/sagetv

I find the lack of replies on reddit...disturbing.

Why do we need Reddit when we have this forum?

I don't know really. Because XBMC has forums, and I was hoping when SageTV actually goes Open Source, the Internet will look to Reddit to find it. A proper announcement in /r/HTPC might lead them to find /r/sagetv at that point.

Nothing for 'the Internet' to look for at this point. It will be a bit before:
1. Sage is available as an open source thing. 2. That thing is made ready for wide distribution and installation. Also, new users are going to need a lot of help learning the architecture, vocabulary, and configuration of SageTV - and frankly, Reddit is not the best format to relay that information - while a forum works very well (and already has all that information available).
