Search function on this site?

I came to debug my Wake On LAN (WOL) problem.

I entered "WOL" as a search term and get
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

I enter the query "WOL site:forums.sagetv.com" into Google Search and get 10 pages of results containing all the threads with the string "WOL" in the title and text of the threads.

I guess Google runs this forum now and wants us to use their search, but if the forum search is not working, why leave it available on the forums pages?

All that shows is the limits of the forum's search capability vs Google's search engine. It is possible that the forum doesn't even index 3 letter words, but I'm not sure of that.

I'm not aware of any widely used forum software packages out there which will index/search for words shorter than 4 letters. 3 letters or less, and they'll get omitted.

Pretty sure the list of Forum Software titles that do support searching against a 1 to 3 letter pattern(outside of exact phrase) is going to be much shorter than the list of forum software packages that do.
