It seems to be limited to folks who have used the Plex forums - if you never used the forums you may be ok, but they had single sign on for forums and the Plex service.

Yes, generally the Plex forums weren't nearly as good as these forums. But the RasPlex forums were pretty good as the Devs were normally present to help you out.
