Q: How do I get EPG data (Program Guide listings) for the open source version of SageTV?
A: Sign up for Schedules Direct, then use the built-in Schedules Direct EPG support. (Note: there was an older Schedules Direct plugin. Do not use the plugin; use the newer built-in support for Schedules Direct.) Q: Is there a trial period after SageTV is installed? A: SageTV has no trial period, but your EPG data source might have one. SageTV no longer requires a license, so there is no try-before-you-buy time period. However, there is also no EPG data source included, so an EPG data source will be needed. You should check to see whether your EPG data provider has a trial period. |
