Anyone know how to create a debian package repo?
BinTray, where the existing binaries are being hosted, does support the ability to host a debian repo. I've even create the repo, but, I'm unfamiliar with how to upload the files (and what other metadata is required).
I'm wondering if somone would like to take on this task, since, it would be nice to be update to have the .deb packages in a debian repo and perform updates using the standard package manager. (We'd need to add repo url, but that's the easy part). The debian repo space is https://bintray.com/opensagetv/sagetv-deb If you want to play with it, you can request to join the OpenSageTV organization.
