Keyword on Favorites not working.
This works on SageTV7 but does not work on SageTV9. I am finding out the Sage9 is more limited in the way you can define favorites than Sage7. They all worked fine in Sagetv7. I was wondering why some shows were not recording. It appears that SageTV9 does not handle regular expressions as good as SageTV7.
Edit... I had to backoff and rebuild the DB back to SageTV7 ... the new Enhancements to SageTV9 simply does not outweigh the lost features of customizing favorites. If I left it the way it was SageTV9 ... I would have lost my head in this household with all the Christmas Movies coming up. Fav example that Do not work. keyword christmas "MV\d+" Title Criminal Minds keyword "EP\d+" also Category Docudrama keyword "MV\d+" More here http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...27&postcount=2 Last edited by nyplayer; 11-28-2015 at 02:51 PM. |

Can you make sure you create an issue for this on the github site to make sure it's tackled?

It looks like there may be a way to force the old behavior. If you've still got a v9 install, try adding wizard/disable_lucene=true to the sage.properties file, and see if that is a quick way to get this working until a fix is implemented.

I did that but then you cannot set any favorites at all .... the list is blank. Even If I just try and set a favorite by title .... list is still blank.

Okay, I just say that property when going through the code, and had hoped that with lucene disabled, it would revert back to the legacy methods, but it seems that's not the case - guess you'll have to wait for a workaround (which Jeff said he was working on I believe).

I've submitted a change into GitHub now that changes keyword Favorite behavior to be like it was in V7 by default.
