TV lookup as MUSIC?
I have 2 episodes from different TV shows which are importing as music for some reason. I changed the logging to debug and this is what I'm seeing (same thing seen for the other episode having issues):
Code:

It just blanks out the fields I update when I click save. Any ideas?

I ran into a similar issue where sagetv was importing some of my video files as music. I was running an older open source build, and when I upgraded to a newer build, the problem went away.
Is this in V7 or V9 of sagetv? I don't think this is a bmt/phoenix issue, since phoenix doesn't change the media type that sagetv uses. ie, SageTV is reading the metadata and thinking this is a music file, and then importing as music, and then bmt is basically trying to find music fanart/metadata for the file. I don't know of any way to change the "type" of media from music to video. You might need to reach out Jeff and maybe provide a sample file and he might be able to determine why sagetv is thinking it's a music file.

I had this problem with a few files as well. One of them I recovered by editing the file with VideoRedo and saving it. The other one I never did get to work in SageTV. They both played fine with VLC.

In case anyone else encounters this, I was able to fix it by using mkvtoolnix-gui and re-muxing the MKV. Clearly, something was messed up during the file's original creation.

I had the same problem with one of the MKV's that Handbrake produced for me from a DVD.
