Thanks guys for all your time and effort on this. Today I successfully installed a Server, a Client and a PlaceShifter - all on Windows 10 machines. I am recording ATSC with 4 tuners - an HVR950, HVR1250, and a HDHR dual. Using the SchedulesDirect plugin.

I was a long time SnapStream user, back from the days of analog tuners and serial IR Blasters. After installing Windows 10, BTV became fairly unstable, so I have since been using NextPVR. Recently though, my wife started complaining about random playback issues, so I thought I'd take another look.

I have been lurking on these forums for a long time but was hesitant to take the plunge - now I'm glad I did. The solution is highly polished with a wealth of features and plugins. Can't wait to explore the system's potential and see where this community takes it.
