I have made a contact to Technotrend. In a first, quick response they asked if somebody can sign a contract for free of charge redistribution of SDK components. I explained this would be a problem in case of an Open Source project. So they are forwarding my request to the development department. Maybe they have not formed an opinion in the past how to deal with open source projects. But I'm quite sure now they will ...

Any more news on this one as i am close to having the next installer release ready...probably next weekend.

I beg your pardon for my delayed response - unfortunately Technotrend has not give any feedback since last contact on 2/2/2016. I will try to put Technotrend in mind of my open request. Probably they haven't made up their mind how to deal with open source projects.

Unfortunately Technotrend didn't reply to my remidner up to now - probably they are not interested in open source projects supporting their DVB-cards.

I have had success working with Technotrends and we have an agreement. Just waiting on the final posting of the file on their site and then I will work on including the dll into the next release of the installer.

I plan to include the latest (2012) dll to start with but will need to rely on you (and other users using these cards) to test the installer with that dll. If that is not successful then I will move back to the version originally included with SageTV.

I will advise when I have a new version ready for testing.
