IT WORKS!
Or at least, it's installed ok and a quick 5 minute test recording went ok. I had some additional information from jt4242 (kudos!) which saved me more time and effort but it looks like the registry change did the trick. Now to see how stable it is with a long run of recordings THANKS! |

Don't use 5.1? That takes it out of the running for me, for sure.

I don't use 5.1, the box provides the facility.

Well I definitely spoke too soon.
The HDPVR2 installs ok for me but Sage now crashes on an almost daily basis (was rock solid before). Tried 2 different drivers (current and previous) and so far I've not been able to figure out what's behind it. Had to go back to the HDPVR before I'm lynched by the family. |

I ended up reinstalling the HD-PVR2 drivers and software for a pretty bogus reason. I was trying to get the blaster to work. I got the blaster to work from blastcfg. No idea why they'd put it under drivers instead of software. The issue I'm getting now is I have to run Hauppauge's software before I can get audio on my SageTV recordings. I just start it up while SageTV is recording and it works. Is there a way to get this working without running the Hauppauge program?
I still haven't quite figured out what to do with the blaster either. It looks like it would be handy for changing channels in the 64-bit build if I had the right driver file.
