Featue request - more SkipFwds

The one great thing about playback in sage is the SkipFwd and SkipFwdx2. I use these ALL the time when watching sports and I custom the skip times based on show title thanks to tmiranda's plugin.

But it would be great to have additional SkipFwds as well so that you could set up a longer SkipFwd for stuff like halftime so that you didn't have to push SkipFwdx2 7 times or whatever.

Is this doable? Could it then be mapped to a keyboard shortcut that could be mapped to a custom key on a Harmony remote?

Would using Time Scroll (CTRL-G if memory serves) work for this?

I believe work is being done to appropriate the pop-up skipfwd preview window from Phoenix and add it to Gemstone. This, for me, is a far more useful feature than adding additional skip forward times.

I have been using SageTV for years and didn't know that Time Scroll existed. I will have to try it.

And I guess I should RTFM!

I also wrote another plugin that will display thumbnails on the timeline and let you jump to those places. I use it fairly often for the purpose you described.

See Thumbnail Navigator.

That is freakin' brilliant. I can't believe I never knew about this - and I live by some of your other plugins like the timeline disabler for SRE monitored shows, JVM monitor, SJQ UI, etc.
