Clients Cannot Connect - HD 2000 Can

I would like to get some help determine why my clients can't connect.

I made a new server, installed the latest version of the server, and switch to OpenDCT, and it runs very well. I installed Sage over a directory that was a copy of my old installation. Let me describe my setup:

Client #1 : Windows 10 Pro. Was able to connect to the new server. I had some problems with the server, so I made some changes (reinstalling Server Essentials). Now it will not connect. It DOES have the dialog box to select the server when opening, though...but doesn't actually connect...just has the media options.

Client #2: I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, installed Sage Client. Same problem, shows server name to connect to, but doesn't actually connect. I also get the dialog that I need to install the weather plug-in, but the options I get are to not remind me anymore, and remind me later. (not actual install)

HD-200: Connects just fine, plays videos just fine.

I was thinking it could be the firewall, but if so, why would the HD-200 be just fine? Can you please suggest some troubleshooting tips?

Make sure the Server and Clients are running the same version.

There is only one server. I will double check the versions, although I downloaded them in the last week off the github site, and I don't think it has changed.

Also, if they weren't the right versions, they shouldn't appear in the dialog box upon connection, should they?

They can still show up if they are not compatible in the case where the client is older than the server (which would be true for V7 vs. V9). There's also a different port used for the full client vs. the extender (42024 for full client, 31099 for extenders....7818 is also used for streaming).

Posting your logs from the client & server would also likely shed more information on what's happening.

Well, I came home from work, and everything is now working. I changed nothing.

Bizzare.

I am sorta back onto a second problem. I will post that separately.
