Like others I use SageTV for its DVR functions and Kodi for Movies. I have used Gemstone in the past but have gone back to the basic STV, does what I need.

There is a SageTV plugin for Kodi. It worked so-so but it was made before the PVR functions were added to Kodi (before the name was changed to Kodi) and the last of the developers of the plug-in have moved on. I am not recommending it, just stating it existed, if you cared to check it out. It's most likely a moot point since supporting SageTV alone for someone else, is not something I would care to do.
