Noob! SageTV 2.0
Just a quick question!

Does SageTV always record live TV? If yes, is there an option to turn it off or is there a recording cap set by default.

P.S. How about making a new thread for SageTV 2.0. These old posts are very confusing (tweaks, registry hacks, etc...). Thanks!

You might want to check out the FAQ thread -- the 2nd question there pretty much answers that, with other clarifications on recordings elsewhere in the FAQ. Short answer: live TV is always recorded & played back from the file; it is never truly 'live' or else you could never pause/rewind, etc.
