Wrong audio track selected

I have a problem when I play some recordings who have visually impaired track. SageTv (HD300 or Placeshifter) always play the visually impaired track by default. I have to manually switch audio track.

I don't know why this track is selected as it's only 2 channel and the correct track as 6 channels. I thought Sage Tv could find the "best" audio track.

Can you provide a sample file that gets detected like this? It does rely on information in the stream itself for determining which is the actual primary audio track..not heuristics on # of channels or bitrate.

You could also probably work around this problem by selecting the default audio language for playback, if you chose French for that it would then have chosen the proper audio track in this case (but that may not be true on other channels).

It will be a first match in case multiple audio streams with matching language code are available ?

You are right, I have put French as default audio language and now it's correct thanks.
